The Vermuyden 400 project commemorates the 400th anniversary of the signing of the contract between King Charles 1 and Cornelius Vermuyden to drain the Isle of Axholme.
Following their collaboration with North Lincolnshire Museum on ‘Mo Ogg Bard of Coleby’, community group ‘Folk Round Ere’ has set up the Tiddy Mun Band.
The Tiddy Mun Band brings the story of the draining of the Isle of Axholme to life with a folk-rock performance and stories of the folklore of the area.
A preview performance takes place at the Rural Life Museum at Normanby Hall Country Park on Saturday 28th March at 14:00 with a full performance at Crowle Community Hub on 7th June 2026
