Last weekend was the annual Folklincs Festival which is held in Barton every year over 2 days. It was held over several venues in the town and hosting many of the best names in folk music. A new duo who played on the friday night is Kirsty Hannah and Darryl Ebbatson. They have been working together recording material for Kirsty’s solo career over the past 5 years but have joined forces recently to play live dates at various folk venues in Lincolnshire. Kirsty is a regular on the folk scene around Grimsby and Darryl runs this website and produces much of the music available here. They are both also currently performing in the Tiddy Mun Band celebrating the 400th anniversary of the draining of the Isle of Axholme marshland.
