Floating On JD

A visit (as Tennessee Squires) to the Jack Daniels Distillery in Lynchburg inspired this little ditty, written after a selection of Jack Daniels’ finest!
The contents of the ‘fresh’ sandwich counter in a nearby gas station in a motel in Memphis with Billy Joel on the TV add to the occasion!
Scribbled on a page from the local phone directory (used as the cover!) and completed upon our return this is our homage to a great trip and the glory that is JD.

A songwriting debut by a certain Ken Hercock, former roadie to Fandango, dedicated JD drinker and uncle to the Ramble Gambler Matt Hercock!
