Gilded Thieves are the rootsy and raw, can’t quite-put-your-finger-on-them six-piece, hailing from Newcastle upon Tyne. Lovers of live performance, captivators of hearts and purveyors of a chokingly good harmony or two.

With their uniquely niche songs and catchy choruses, including crowd-favourite ‘Gin Bar’, Gilded Thieves treat their live shows like a more’s-the-merrier party invite, from audience participation in old drinking songs, to a well-chosen cover or two, completely reworked in their original style.

This band tell stories; tales of outlaws and outcasts, sinners and vandals, love and heartbreak. Rousing fiddle and dancing mandolin are backed by a powerhouse of bass, drums and guitar, led by lead singer L’s enchanting country-style vocals and pin-drop licks, muddled into a rabble of rambunctious joy.

A band that will steal your soul and spit it back out after it’s had a damn good dance.
