North Lincolnshire Museums commissioned these films to provide a record of a living tradition still performed in the North Lincolnshire area. The film was created by Smallcogmusic

The films connect to our temporary exhibition Mo Ogg, The Bard of Coleby. For decades the Plough Jag had not been performed in the area, until Mo Ogg restarted it. After much research and talking to local people, Mo recreated the Plough Jag. The first performance of the Coleby Plough Jag was in 1973.

The second part of the documentary is an interview with past and present members of the Coleby Plough Jag.
